New Star Trek Movie To Open Earlier
Well, today brings some more good news on the topic of the new star trek movie. It appears that the film, which has been scheduled to open on Friday May 8th for nearly 6 months, will infact get an little bump up to an earlier spot.
According to Roddenberry.com the new star trek flick will actually open at 7:00 on Thursday May 7th. So this is welcome news to all the Star Trek fans out there who are eager to see the film as soon as possible. I can count myself among the ranks of those who are dying to see this movie and I think that it will be a truly great flick.
I have been thinking a lot of late about how to rank this movie among the list of star trek movies if it is any good–which I think it will be. I don’t think that it can exceed the greatness that was Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, but I believe that it could end becoming the second best of all the films. That is pretty high praise and just goes to show you how excited I am about this opening.
